How we keep the lights on
We're transparent about how Baby Bids generates revenue. Both methods are optional and cost you nothing.
Amazon Affiliate Links
When you link your Amazon Baby Registry and guests click through to shop, we earn a small commission (typically 1–4%). The price guests pay is identical — Amazon pays us from their margin, not yours. This is our primary revenue source.
Google Ads
We display non-intrusive Google ads on some pages. Ads are shown in natural pause moments (between sections, post-submission) and never interrupt the pool creation or entry flows. If you have an ad blocker, you won't see them — and that's fine.
What we removed: Baby Bids previously took a 10% cut of optional cash donations. We've removed donations entirely. The Amazon registry is a better experience — guests give something meaningful, and you get exactly what you need.
